Undergraduate Thesis
Final Course Paper (TCC)
In accordance with Ordinance No. 1,886/94, to complete the Undergraduate Law Program, it is mandatory to complete an individual final thesis, defended before an examination board, with a topic and advisor chosen by the student.
The preparation and defense of a final thesis for PUC-Rio Law students has been mandatory since 1984, that is, ten years before it became mandatory under Ordinance No. 1,886/94.
To prepare students for this thesis, the Department offers the Methodology course, usually taken in the semester prior to writing the thesis. After completing this course, students begin writing their paper under the guidance of specially designated professors.
